A company in Texas recently contacted us in need of help replacing their inefficient and potentially unsafe hand stamping process. They needed to mark small parts and tags, but also needed to mark larger stock steel in the shop and yard. A portable unit wouldn’t be well suited for the tags that required a stationary marking process, while a tabletop unit wouldn’t help with the scattered steel that necessitated portability. They also were looking for an economical solution that would best meet all of their needs, so purchasing two units wasn’t in the budget. Fortunately, we have a solution to knock out two birds with one stone.

The battery-operated FlyMarker® is unique in that it can provide full portability for marking throughout a shop, but also easily slide into a column frame for marking tags. You can see how the FlyMarker® transforms into a tabletop unit in this one-minute clip.

Along with higher quality markings, this customer now realizes benefits that include increased manpower, better inventory control, improved traceability through serialization, and a far safer marking process.

If you’d like to see if the FlyMarker® can deliver similar benefits throughout your operation, get in touch today.
