On May 19th, the Sioux City Historic Preservation Commission awarded us with their “Treasure of Sioux City Award” for the historic renovation of our 1912 building. The original birthplace of Sioux Tools, our home for the past 81 years has the truly unique claim of supporting both world wars within its walls.
50 years. Half a century. For well over half of our company’s 86 years in business, Rocklin Manufacturing has had the distinct pleasure of working with George Glumb, who has been our exclusive sales representative in Michigan since 1970. We like to say that we measure our partnerships in decades, not years. George Glumb is the epitome of that statement.
For the first time in our 85 years in business, we recently hosted a Rep Summit at our historic, new facility in Sioux City, IA. 19 of our sales reps joined us from all over the U.S. and Canada along with our partners from Markator and LaserEvo.
When we decided to restore and move back into the building that had first been our home over 75 years ago, it was clear the brick and mural were in need of a refresh. Luckily, Paul and Mark were once again up to the challenge.
